RE: Representative, request on S.C.O.B.A. Evangelizing Missions Center

Dear Fr. Couchell,

God's Blessings on the retreat program and spiritual ministry experienced this eighth year, at the Orthodox Mission Center. I regret not being able to attend.

Enclosures of our mission statement booklet(3) are for you and Andrew Lekos, to inform you of our Orthodox Mission to Children, by St. Michael Academy, in West Palm Beach, which is my Episcopate, under the Ormophorion [sic] of The Patriarchate of Alexandria, since Patriarchs Nicholas, Partheneos [sic] III, whom we received the blessings from Their Holinesses, for our efforts in Africa. His Holiness Patriarch Petros is apprised, since his enthronement.

The purpose of this communication is to officially be on the board of directors, under S.C.O.B.A., as an Ukrainian National Orthodox Autocephalic Archdiocese, represented by Archbishop Joseph. Enclosures indicate this jurisdiction is valid (enclosure dated 1960, Rt. Rev. Palladios, Archbishop) as pronounced by Archbishop Iakovos, President of S.C.O.B.A. and Primate of The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of North and South America. We as the Apostolic Canonical Heritage Outline reveals are his Ecclesiastical legacy, with all papers in order for examinations on request. Other Ukrainian Jurisdictions have emanated from us during iterim [sic] periods, such as the Ukrainian Orthodox of U.S.A. We have the blessings of Kiev, and The Ecumenical Patriarchate since 1921,and were declared Autocephalic, at that time. Inactivity and lack of past communication with others since 1969 was due to language and ethnic barriers, yet the original Church is still in existence, both in America, and Russia, and The Ukrain. I have explain our agenda with children with Andrew Lekos, and our desire to help your causes overseas, and America.

Yours in Christ,
Bishop Haralambos Bouchlas
