RE: Metropolitan's Rightful Reclamation to S.C.O.B.A. Membership

Your Eminence,

As Appointed Secretary by His Eminence Metropolitan Nikolaus of the Ukrainian National Orthodox Autocephalous Church, Blessings of Kiev, we are asking Hierarchy Reclamation to S.C.O.B.A.

Canonical Credentials are enclosed which indicate Metropolitan Nikolaus Ilnyickyj was ordained and consecrated in 1949 by and is the uninterrupted Apostolic Successor to Archbishops Palladios and Joachim Souris. Additional consecrators were Metropolitans Zhurawetsky and Maniatakis. Metropolitan Nikolaus was also elected Vice President of the Old Calendar Holy Synod.

As you know the Ukrainian National Orthodox Autocephalous Church was in exile since 1922, with Archbishop Palladios as a Member of S.C.O.B.A. at it's inception. Enclosed is a letter showing Ukrainian Orthodox Church of U.S.A., not in S.C.O.B.A., year 1968, yet it has evolved today as such. The Metropolitan is 96 years old and now has parishes in the Ukraine and the United States. He vehemently proclaims his Allegiance to the Ecumenical Patriarchate, but retains his Jurisdiction in the Diaspora as Autonomous. He periodically commutes to the Ukraine, but remains neutral in any jurisdictional disputes in his country.

Sec. for Holy Synod
& Ukrainian National Orthodox Church, Blessings of Kiev,

Yours in Christ,
