The Lonely Path of Integrity across Americas

By Peter Panayiotou

NEW YORK - Justine Frangouli-Argyris' best-seller, The Lonely Path of Integrity, is, as of yesterday, available at Borders and Walgreens bookstores throughout the USA.

The biography of Spyridon, former Archbishop of America, has broken the barrier that normally excludes small imported titles from nationwide distribution.

The book has made headlines in Greece and the Greek community around the world. Printed and published in Athens, it finally made it to the American mainstream market marking new perspectives for all English translated books written by Greek authors.

"I am deeply touched that my first book will be available throughout Borders' worldwide network of over 1200 stores and I believe that, as a result, publishers will now begin to realize the tremendous opportunities for success that exist in translating new Greek authors," said Ms Frangouli who is coming up with a new book this spring under the title Clouds Fly, Don't They? (Psyhogios Publishers).

Throughout more than 1,200 Borders and Waldenbooks stores around the world, Borders Group is promoting international literature and music items. Borders Group, Inc., is a publicly held Fortune 500 company with sales of $3.4 billion yearly. Borders Group operates more than 400 domestic Borders Books & Music stores, 29 international superstores, 37 Books etc. stores in the U.K., and more than 800 Waldenbooks stores. Teamed with Amazon.com, Borders Group also offers convenient online shopping through http://www.borders.com/ and http://www.waldenbooks.com/.

The Lonely Path of Integrity, barely in circulation for a year, is currently enjoying enormous popularity and is into its 4th Greek and 3rd English reprint.
