I fully agree with Mr Kousoulas.
His arguments seem very sound.
Bartholomew does not realize how different the situation is today throughout the Orthodox world, especially in the United States.

I only disagree with Mr Kousoulas on two points:

The Patriarchate is, to some extent, still a church "governing authority" in compliance with Orthodox Canon Law.
Bartholomew did NOT insist to keep Spyridon in his office. Bartholomew undermined Spyridon. It's time to restore history in this regard.
