Archbishop Elpidophoros of America has been using his social media accounts to offer daily reflections on Holy Scripture. It would behoove His Eminence to look at the words Saint Basil the Great wrote for his Sermon to the Wealthy.

The Archbishop aka Father Alex Karloutsos, appointed a man worth $2.7 BILLION dollars as the Vice-President of the Archdiocesan Council. Truly, we must look to our Church Fathers for guidance on this situation, for even one of the greatest Saints of our Holy Church would disapprove of Archbishop Elipodophoros' actions as of late.

Who needs the rest of the faithful to build Saint Nicholas Shrine when you have all the money right there in one person.

Until the federal investigation into the mismanagement of money is cleared up, it would be inappropriate for the faithful to contribute any money to the same people who have been involved in this mess since the beginning.
